Moutai Lights up Celebration at Rhythm of the Dragon Boat 

Moutai Germany was delighted to participate in the “Rhythm of the Dragon Boat” event organized by Kunst4D Hamburg, held on June 22, 2023, at Yu Garden. The event was a great success, featuring performances of the Dragon Boat Festival in both traditional Chinese and Western instruments. Not to mention of course is the highlight of Moutai pairing with traditional Rice Dumplings for all the attending guests.   

The event began with opening speeches from Mr. Wolfgang Wen, Managing Director of Yu-Garden Hamburg Deutsch-Chinesisches Wirtschafts- u. Kulturzentrum e. V., and Mr.Xing Zhou Huang, Consular Office of Generalkonsulat Volksrepublik China Hamburg, which both articulated the importance of cultural exchange as one of the important aspect to further strengthen the friendship between China and Germany.    

The event was packed with mesmerizing performances of Chinese traditional music and dance, which featured a blend of Chinese and Western instruments, showcasing the cultural integration between East and West. The highlight of the evening has to be the “Rhythm of the Dragon” which is specifically written by the organizer and tailored for the Dragon Boat event., which has won the crowd over, and added much more heritage and festive to the atmosphere. 

Overall, the event was a great success, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to share their unique cultural heritage. Moutai Germany is proud to have been a part of this event and be able to enhance the theme of the evening with our traditional spirits! We will surely continue to strive for more cultural exchange opportunities in the future. Stay tuned!
