HCG Chinese New Year Celebration 2023  


Hamburger China-Gesellschaft (HCG) recently hosted a special celebration to mark the Chinese New Year, with a guest list that included some of the most prominent figures in the city's political and diplomatic spheres. The event was highlighted by the presence of Dr. Peter Tschentscher, the First Mayor, the President of the Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Mr. Cong Wu, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Hamburg, as well as Mr. Jason Chue, the Consul General at the U.S. Consulate in Hamburg.

 

The celebration was fittingly grand and lavish, with the restaurant's sophisticated and elegant ambience providing the perfect backdrop for the auspicious occasion. The menu featured a range of traditional Chinese delicacies, including Moutai Drunken Chicken, Shrimp Dumplings, and Sesame Rice Balls, all of which were prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. The guests were also treated to special performances which captivated the audienceand added festive atmosphere to the event.
