Moutai lights up the spirit at Northern Germany New Year Gala 2023

Moving away from the pandemic, the long-waited Chinese New Year Gala, returned in full scale at Yu Garden to deliver another heartwarming gathering for the Chinese community in Germany for the New Year of the Rabbit.

Hosted by a number of Chinese associations in Northern Germany, the spring gala was held in Hamburg on the 7th of January this year. Over three hundred guests from Hamburg, Bremen, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein showed up at the event. The annual grand gala was star-studded, including opening speeches from Ms. Corinna Nienstedt - Director-General of the Office to the State; and Mr Cong Wu - Chinese Consulate-General in Hamburg, follow by a variety of strong Chinese and German performances spanning from Chinese waist drums, Guqin performance, Shanghai opera, to Chinese fans dance. German Chinese and locals gathered to celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm and fanfare, which shows a perfect harmony between the cultures and strong bonds of friendship. It was delighted to see that all guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  Furthermore, Moutai was present as a staple for the occasion, bringing out the spirits of the motherland to everyone there.

To ensure a perfect celebration of the Year of the Rabbit, we featured at the event Moutai toasting, receptions, and a lucky draw to win bottles of our hero product, the Moutai Flying Fairy. It’s always good to see excited faces when they won Moutai at the lucky draw.
