A Night with The Essence Beyond Prestige 



On the evening of August 18th, Moutai Germany hosted The Essence Beyond Prestige, an exceptional tasting event dedicated to Moutai Jingpin at the distinguished Hotel Atlantic Hamburg. This exclusive  moment  brought together a select circle of experienced Moutai enthusiasts for a meeting of minds and palates dedicated to the highest form of the craft. In an atmosphere of shared passion, guests convened to witness firsthand how a 10-year-aged elixir could eclipse legend itself, exploring a spirit where every drop carried the weight of a decade’s patience and the spark of revolutionary craftsmanship. 

 

The tasting itself was an emotional journey into the heart of a modern masterpiece. At its core is an exceptional 10-year-aged base liquor, a testament to patience that forms the soul of this baijiu. From there, Moutai’s master blenders, with an artist’s touch, elevate it into a realm of unparalleled refinement. For the connoisseurs in attendance, each sip was a revelation. It began with a bright, inviting aroma that promised elegance, followed by a complex, exquisitely structured palate that danced with layers of flavour. Yet, it was the signature smoothness—a velvety, silken texture that caressed the palate—that left guests in a state of quiet awe. Moutai Jingpin is not merely a premium product; it is the very embodiment of modern prestige, a spirit that commands reverence from the first moment to the last. 

 

 

This journey of flavour was perfectly complemented by a thoughtfully curated menu, where each element was designed to create a dialogue with the spirit. The experience began with two innovative Moutai cocktails, each brilliantly crafted to awaken the palate and showcase the spirit's versatility in a contemporary setting. A starter of fjord trout, delicately infused with Moutai, highlighted the spirit’s ability to enhance subtle flavours. The main course, a succulent poulard supreme with warm sorghum and Moutai-infused apricots, created a perfect synergy between the dish’s rich, earthy notes and Jingpin's complex profile. For the finale, a refreshing melon Moutai ice cream mirrored the spirit’s own silky texture, providing a light and elegant end to the meal.
