When Hanseatic charm meets Chinese elegance at China Night 2025

Moutai Germany was honored to contribute to "China Night 2025," marking the perfect finale to the year's cultural exchange calendar. On the first of December, Hamburg’s iconic Yu Garden hosted this event, transforming into the stage for a stylish gathering of guests from around the world. Drawing leaders from the spheres of politics, business, culture, and media, the evening radiated a distinctive Hanseatic and cosmopolitan elegance. It was a night dedicated to informal, personal exchanges among China enthusiasts and international friends, celebrating the vibrant spirit of our shared community.

The evening’s importance was highlighted by powerful addresses from distinguished leaders, including Mr. Lin Dong, Consul-General of the People's Republic of China in Hamburg, and Ms. Katharina Fegebank, Second Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Their words underscored and recognized China Night as an event to deepen German-Chinese friendships and bonds between Hamburg and China.

Beyond this meaningful exchange, the night unfolded as a curated feast for the senses. Guests indulged in exquisite flying finger food prepared by Yu Garden and savored the fresh sophistication of the Oyster Bar. A captivating singer performed original Old Shanghai songs from the 30s, and later in the evening, a live DJ continued the entertainment. At the heart of this sensory experience is of course the finest spirit from China - Moutai. Guided by our philosophy "Quality as the root, culture as the soul," we offered a comprehensive spirit journey—from the classic purity of Moutai shots to innovative cocktails that showcase the spirit's versatility and the fine quality that arises from a traditional Chinese heritage.
