A Big Round of Moutai at the Hamburger China-Gesellschaft Mid-Autumn Festival

Like all cultures, festive celebration is a major part of the Chinese culture, and baijiu is a staple to any festive or celebration events.  The 15th day of the eighth month on the Chinese lunar calendar is the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most celebrated annual festivals in China.

In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, Moutai Germany joined hands with the Hamburger China-Gesellschaft to throw a Mid-Autumn Festival dinner party at NiHao.  Two popular Moutai cocktails – “Moutai Ginger” and “The Dream of Red Chamber” were featured in the event, not to mentioned our signature Flying Fairy.  These along with moon cakes and scrumptious Chinese dishes provide a perfect celebration evening and connotate union, completeness and togetherness for everyone!

The atmosphere was topped with a Chinese musical performance with the use of western musical instruments namely the piano and cello.  On top of that, the highlight of the evening has to be the toasting of Moutai Flying Fairy and the grand lucky draw towards the end.

It was a fun and enjoyable gathering, filled with laughter and big smiles!  We look forward to holding more similar events with everyone.  Follow @moutai_germany on Instagram and subscribe our newsletter for more upcoming events!
