Curtains Up! Moutai featured at FILMFEST HAMBURG Opening Party 

The curtains lifted on September 28th, 2023, as FILMFEST HAMBURG unfolded in all its grandeur. The opening ceremony took place at the Grand Elysee Hotel, with top film directors and renowned actors gracing the occasion including the director of the opening film, Mr Amjad Al Rasheed. The atmosphere was glamourous and classy with 1,200 guests gathered in the evening. Starring also of course is Moutai at the show, which added to the enchantment with our special heritage, radiating an aura of elegant Moutai MEI, making the atmosphere even more dazzling!     

Moutai, with its unique Moutai MEI concept with the quality of beauty, elegance, prestige, and class resonance well with the festival and quickly becomes a star of the show. Both Moutai and the films represented years of dedications and craftsmanship that result in truly remarkable productions.  

This celebration, in line with the motto "FILMFEST for everyone – everywhere in Hamburg," not only applauded the remarkable contributions of the film industry in adding vibrancy to German culture but also captivated local filmmakers and actors with the cultural appeal of Moutai the Chinese Baijiu. As a platform for cultural exchange and dialogue, FILMFEST HAMBURG presented the majority of its films with the presence of the filmmakers themselves in Hamburg. With this fusion of film and Baijiu, FILMFEST HAMBURG created yet another memorable experience that further enrich the cultural landscape between Germany and China. Let us continue on Moutai's journey of MEI and embrace the lasting cultural connections it fosters.
